Broadcasts
This document provides an overview of the different types of broadcasts available in Carrick Health, including Mini Broadcasts, Mass Broadcasts, and Appointment Broadcasts. Each type serves a unique purpose and is designed to cater to varying audience sizes and communication needs.
Types of Broadcasts
Broadcasts are messages that are sent to multiple recipients rather than a single individual. The type of broadcast you choose to use may depend on the size of the audience you are contacting. Below are the three primary types of broadcasts available in Carrick Health:
Mini Broadcasts
Mini Broadcasts are designed for communications that will reach 50 or fewer contacts. When sending a Mini Broadcast, you select your audience by individually choosing members from your contact list. This approach differs from Mass Broadcasts, where the audience is selected based on applied Tags or Segments.

Mass Broadcasts
Mass Broadcasts represent the standard method for sending broadcasts through Carrick Health. Instead of selecting each contact individually, a Mass Broadcast allows you to build your audience by selecting Tags or Segments. This method is particularly efficient for reaching larger groups.
For more information on Mass Broadcasts, please refer to the following article: Mass Broadcasts.
Appointment Broadcasts
Appointment Broadcasts enable you to send messages to patients who have appointments scheduled within a specified date range. This feature is particularly useful for notifying patients about immediate changes in availability, such as when a physician with multiple appointments needs to go on emergency leave.
